The Green Roundtable/NEXUS welcomes director of technology & innovation Ravi Srinivasan. Srinivasan will provide technical leadership across all areas of the organization's activities. "Ravi embodies the essence of our organization and its mission," said founder and Executive director Barbra Batshalom.
As director of technology and innovation, Srinivasan will provide technical leadership throughout the organization -consulting projects, research and development of tools and resources, and development of trainings and educational content. GRT/NEXUS recently introduced the first ever Net Zero Energy training series in the US, starting from the "Net Zero Energy 501: Building Envelope & Internal Load Optimization" Training. Srinivasan will offer trainings on LEED EAc1, HVAC Design Optimization, and Onsite Renewable Energy Integration. He will also oversee quality control and professional development internally, and will be the technical face of the organization with clients and collaborators externally.
Srinivasan's expertise is in building simulation and energy studies, sustainability and high performance strategies, and virtual/augmented reality visualization. He has made conference presentations before the International Building Performance Simulation Association, the City of Cambridge, and other engineers/architectural organizations. He has more than eighteen peer-reviewed journal and conference publications in the field of building energy and sustainability. Ravi's leadership is demonstrated by his role as board member of Delaware Valley Green Building Council (DVGBC) and a founding member and chair of the Emerging Green Building committee of DVGBC.
Srinivasan is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Certified CEM Trainer, and a LEED Accredited Professional.
