The largest and oldest Home Show in southern New England will be at the Rhode Island Convention Center from March 11-14. Close to 300 exhibitors, how-to seminars, children's entertainment and cooking demonstrations top off this year's events. Cooking Demonstrations Award-winning chefs from Newport Restaurant Week return to the Home Show demonstration kitchen this year. Demonstrations and recipe sampling from the kitchens of Newport and Bristol County restaurants will take place Thursday and Friday evenings from 6-8, Saturday from 11am-8pm and Sunday from 11 am-5pm Seminars Experts will speak about green building rebates and tax incentives, how to hire a contractor, new trends in kitchen and bath design, renovating historic homes, and landscape design. Rejuvenation Room The popular Rejuvenation Room returns to the Home Show for three nights. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-9, attendees can relax with free spa treatments from Renovo Heath and Wellness, taste wines from the vineyards of the Coastal Wine Trail, and sample Cabot cheese and delectable chocolate treats! Fun for the whole family Kaleidoscope Theater returns with performances on Saturday and Sunday of The Magic of Story Time, an interactive presentation filled with songs, fables, fantasy and fun. Princesses, including Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, plus Little Red Riding Hood will be roaming the show floor to meet and greet children of all ages! Lon Cerel will entertain with balloon creations and magic on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is "Family Fun Day," with children 12 and under admitted free. Discounts!
