Margulies & Associates completes 110,000 s/f headquarters for Nuvera

Margulies & Associates, an architectural and interior design firm, has completed a new 110,000 s/f world headquarters for alternative energy company Nuvera Fuel Cells. The project included renovations of a former light manufacturing facility to create more than 50,000 s/f of manufacturing space, 25 research and development labs, and expanded office space to house a projected increase in staff. "Our firm's approach has always been to focus on solving a client's business needs in the real estate world." said Marc Margulies, AIA, principal of Margulies & Associates. Erland Construction was the general contractor for the project; RDK Engineers provided the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering; and the fire code specialist was Rolf Jensen Associates.
