The City of Taunton has contracted with Daniel Flynn & Co. to auction off three properties in tax-title possession. This will be Taunton's second tax-title property auction by Flynn Auctions in the past six months. In April the city raised nearly $1 million by selling off a 7-acre commercial property on Broadway and a half acre parcel on Johnson St. Three properties are scheduled to be auctioned at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21. They will be conducted caravan-style, where bidders follow the auctioneer from one property to the next in a predetermined sequence and time. The property auction portfolio is diverse; a two family home on 27 Cottage St., a paved 16,000 s/f lot on 222 High St. and a 36,000 s/f commercial restaurant building on Rte. 44.
