Dacon Corp. has completed a 30,000 s/f, 24-foot clear warehouse addition for AFC Cable, a manufacturer of electrical distribution products, in the New Bedford Industrial Park. In addition to the 30,000 s/f of warehouse, a 1,500 s/f mezzanine was constructed and the existing office area was expanded by 10,000 s/f, and a project size of 41,500 s/f. The building is a conventional, steel-framed building with joist and metal roof deck, insulated metal sandwich panel, renovations to the existing office area, and a fully landscaped site. Ground was broken in January and occupancy was in April.
