The Association of Energy Engineers – New England Chapter’s October 5 program “Energy Efficiency Program Trends & Tax Incentives Seminar” will feature an overview of the region’s energy efficiency programs and tax incentives for energy efficiency projects. The seminar will be held at Embassy Suites Hotel (formerly DoubleTree Hotel), 550 Winter St.
Thomas Coughlin, a program manager for National Grid with over 21 years of experience in energy efficiency programs, will discuss the latest technologies in Solid State Lighting and how local energy service professionals and end users can work with local “Program Administrators” for mutual benefit.
Birud Jhaveri from the Mass. Department of Energy Resources and formerly of NSTAR will discuss financing options for efficiency programs.
Concluding the seminar, Kate DeWolf, director of business development for Engineered Tax Services, will provide an overview of potential tax savings for building owners, architects, and engineers based on energy efficiency improvements.
The cost of the meeting, which will run from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, is $45 and includes dinner. Register online at aeenewengland.org.
