Matthew Keefe, president of HK Group, sold a 110,000 s/f Stop & Shop/Rite Aid community shopping center at 200 New Hartford Rd. for $15.4 million to a group of investors based in Greenwich. The shopping center is 90% occupied. The new owners are already negotiating to lease the vacant space. The seller was St. Marks, LLC of New York, NY. "This was a tremendous deal on both sides and a great indication that there is an active equity interest in the Connecticut retail market," said Keefe.
