On behalf of Boys & Girls Clubs of Middlesex County, CB Richard Ellis N.E. Partners, LP (CBRE/NE) completed the sale of 181 Washington St. The 22,309 s/f, special-purpose school/office building is situated less than four miles from downtown Boston.
The CBRE/NE team of Mark Reardon, executive vice president/partner, and Jake Borden, senior associate, represented the seller, Boys & Girls Clubs of Middlesex County, and procured the buyer, Somerville Community Corp. The sale closed for $1.5 million.

Located a half mile from I-93 (exit 28), adjacent to the McGrath Highway and within walking distance to the MBTA station, 181 Washington St. provides visibility, accessibility and ample parking. In proximity to both Washington and Union Sqs., the three-story brick and concrete facility served as the former Pope Elementary School and then the Somerville Boys & Girls Club with improved office space, a recreational room and a gymnasium.
