The 9th annual BOMA Boston Striped Bass and Bluefish Tournament, sponsored by UGL Services, took place on June 7th. Mother Nature cooperated for most of the day and everyone had a good time. While the number of fish caught was lower than past years, the sizes of the winning fish did not disappoint! First place caught by Tuslie Johgan was a massive 48" long and 44.7 lbs, the runner up caught by a male, Steve Howard, was 44.5" and 32.8 lbs, and the runner up caught by a female, Kelly Crosby, was 34" and 11.5 lbs. The Colliers International sponsored boat caught the most fish on the vessel named, "Bounty Hunter."
The day's festivities culminated in a harborside seafood lunch at the Daily Catch where the awards were presented, sponsored by A.W. Perry, Inc., and Stanley Elevator Company, Inc.
