Stop & Shop Supermarket Company, LLC, a grocery store retail chain and subsidiary of Ahold Company, selected Diggs Construction, LLC to serve as general contractor for the remodel project at their Sturbridge location. The 64,000 s/f remodel began on July 9 and is expected to last 12 weeks. This is the first Mass. project and third overall Stop & Shop remodel for Diggs. Mark Ballantoni will serve as superintendent on this project.
