Cushman & Wakefield has been named the exclusive leasing agent for 488 Main Ave., a three-story, 36,000 s/f office building located off the Super 7 Connector. Recently acquired by Edgewood Capital Advisors, the new owners are planning a broad range of renovations to the property.
The Cushman & Wakefield leasing team is comprised of Stephen Baker, senior director, Adam Klimek, and Bill Montague, both associate directors.
488 Main Ave. is located in Norwalk's Rte. 7 commercial district with access to the Merritt Parkway and I-95. The building features a infrastructure with fiber capabilities and is within walking distance of restaurants and retail outlets. Edgewood Capital's planned capital improvement program will include modernized lobbies, bathrooms, elevators and common areas, as well as updated and enhanced landscaping.
Jonathan Levirne, managing director of Edgewood Capital Advisors said, "488 Main Ave. is our third acquisition in the 'high-barrier-to-entry' Fairfield County office market. We're enjoying great success with our recent acquisition of 65-69 East Ave. and expect that our management style will make 488 Main Ave. an equally successful investment. The partnership that we have with Cushman & Wakefield as our leasing agent in both of these buildings, combined with their track record for marketing space and their excellent relationships with the region's most prominent tenants, will help us to achieve our goals for both properties."
