Leslie Cotter of Powers & Co. has brokered the first Mass. location for The Running Company. The Running Co., a fitness/running apparel retailer opened their eighth location on Mass. Ave. The Running Co. was started as more than just a business venture. It started as an expression of the enthusiasm for the sport of running and its healthy lifestyle. Deirdre Niemann of Neiman Assoc. represented the landlord in the transaction.
Powers & Co. represented the landlord in the lease of another tenant at Horn Pond Plaza in Winchester, Mass. Dharma Dog will be joining Whole Foods, Toys R Us and Rite Aid in this newly renovated plaza. Dharma Dog, a specialty pet grocery and dog wash has leased 1,900 s/f and they are the area's first self-service dog wash and pet grocery for dogs and cats. They offer both self-service wash and full service grooming.
Citibank has also leased 3,700 s/f at Horn Pond Plaza, a 153,885 s/f shopping center. Citibank is one of the largest full service banks in the world and they offer a range of products and services. Pat Paladino of Meredith and Grew represented Citibank and Powers & Co. represented the landlord in this transaction.
