Hacyon Ventures changes name to Alcion Ventures

Halcyon Ventures, LP has changed its name to Alcion Ventures, LP. The change has been made to distinguish the firm from a similarly named but unrelated asset management company. "To avoid any possible confusion, we have decided to change our name to Alcion and thereby preserve our unique identity in the marketplace," said Martin Zieff, co-founding partner of Alcion Ventures.
