TFMoran Inc., was a recipient of the 2012 Building New Hampshire Award for Abingdon Sq. Park on Mast Rd, a 30,000 s/f park. The award was given in recognition of sustainable design which promotes healthy and livable communities. Selected by a committee of regional building professionals, the Building New Hampshire Awards honors individuals who have made significant contributions toward enhancing both the residential and commercial buildings of the Granite State.
Abingdon Sq. Park is the centerpiece of a larger, mixed use development that currently includes a Rite Aid pharmacy and 25 workforce housing units. Two other retail uses are planned for the final buildout of the site. The park is designed with walkways, benches, lighting, landscaping, historic plaques, a war memorial and innovative drainage treatments.
"We are pleased to be named a 2012 Building New Hampshire Aware winner," said Robert Cruess, PE of TFMoran Inc. "We hope the Park will act as a catalyst for more thoughtful and sustainable design along Mast Road in the future."
