In early 2006, Fay School, the oldest junior boarding school in the country, purchased six and a half acres of property adjoining their 36-acre campus and completed a master planning process to update campus facilities, including new dormitories, athletic fields, and vehicle and pedestrian circulation.    The entire master plan will be implemented over several years. Fay School has selected Erland Construction as construction manager and preconstruction for phase 1 is currently underway. This collaboration represents the fourth time Erland has worked on the Fay campus. Partnering with architect S/L/A/M Collaborative of Glastonbury, Conn., and Owner's Project Manager Pinck & Co., Inc, of Boston, Erland is set to begin construction in early 2008. Phase 1 will include extensive site work, a new maintenance building, a wastewater treatment facility, two wood-framed student/faculty residences, and a wellness center.
