Callahan, Inc. recently completed construction on Maxwell's Green. The new residential community features four apartment buildings, comprised of 184 units.
Callahan provided construction management services for the new LEED certified project. The four buildings consist of three or four stories with a mix of studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, as well as four townhome style units. The buildings' facades have a modern look, combining masonry, composite metal paneling, metal shingles and cementitious siding. Each building has below grade parking.
Maxwell's Green features a number of amenities including open outdoor living spaces, a lifestyle center, bicycle storage, a bike path to the Red Line-Davis Sq. MBTA stop and electric car chargers. The two-level lifestyle center with club suite includes a chef's kitchen, sophisticated dining, lounging and entertainment areas, network café, yoga studio, fitness center, roof deck and theater room.
"The proximity to the T, number of value-added amenities, open space and sustainable features makes the new residential buildings an excellent option for local community members looking for a new place to live," said Dave Boucher, project manager at Callahan.
The 207,722 s/f community is owned by Gate Residential Properties/KSS Partners and the architect is ICON Architecture.
