New Hampshire based hotel company Roedel Companies and its hotel management subsidiary, RGH Hospitality, has appointed John Rogers as general manager and Sharon Nista as hotel director of sales at their Holiday Inn Express & Suites. Rogers is responsible for providing leadership and direction to develop hotel plans and processes while also implementing and maintaining hotel brand requirements. Nista controls sales, marketing guest services and employee development.
Within their area of concentration both Rogers and Nista are responsible for revenue production and strategic planning at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. They manage room revenue targets, operating expenses and budget maintenance.
Rogers brings extensive knowledge in general management to his role at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. He most recently held the position of general manager at Colwen Hotels, a management company that oversees administrative positions for Marriott and Hilton hotel properties. During his tenure, Rogers supervised the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Milford, Mass. and was responsible for day to day operations, sales, employee development and quality assurance. Rogers also served as general manager for Jiten Hotel Management Inc., Extended Stay Hotels, Essex Partners Inc. and Regency Hotel Limited Inn III Inc.
Nista has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She most recently held the position of general manager at the Extended Stay Hotel in Nashua, N.H. Nista oversaw all aspects of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance departments. She was also responsible for cash deposits, sales reports, and scheduling.
President of RGH Hospitality Glenn Hardman explained that the hotel, located at Exit 11 off the Everett Turnpike, recently opened to the public in November 2012 after a multi-million dollar renovation. "John and Sharon are instrumental to the success of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites," said Hardman.
