Langley Construction has been honored with the 2013 Preservation Achievement Award for outstanding restoration of the historical North Hampton Town Hall Bell Tower by the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance.
In 2004, the town hall was declared unsafe and the building was closed to the public. In 2006, a town committee was developed and began their seven year restoration project. The committee hoped to restore the bell tower to its original state.
The town celebrated the restoration of the North Hampton Town Hall with a re-enactment of the opening of the historic building.
Town officials arrived by an ox-drawn cart wearing top hats. The restoration of the Bell Tower by Langley Construction has brought back the integrity of this landmark and has helped name the building to the National Register of Historic Places. Today, the Revere Bell hangs from its original place in the North Hampton Town Hall Bell Tower.
