John Goudreault, PE has been named a senior project manager of the New England operation of the infrastructure & environment division of URS Corp. The New England operation includes a staff of 230 employees and provides transportation engineering, environmental management and remediation, facilities architecture and engineering, and industrial engineering services to public- and private-sector clients.
Goudreault is a project manager widely respected throughout the Northeast with expertise in a variety of engineering disciplines, project management, project controls and business development. Prior to joining URS, he was a senior principal engineer for a Burlington, Mass. based engineering firm where he was responsible for project management, project operations, quality control and quality assurance, civil and structural engineering design and business development for the U.S. transportation market and private industry. Previously, he was the project manager for multiple toll plaza related assignments for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
Additionally, he was the project manager and engineering lead for the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, multi-year, On-Call Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Contract. Goudreault has extensive experience in the private manufacturing/industrial sector as a multidisciplinary project engineer, including the $40 million Meltshop Modernization project for Ameristeel, Inc.
A Registered Professional Engineer and Certified by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, Goudreault received a BS from the University of Lowell in civil engineering. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, and of the American Council of Engineering Companies, New Hampshire Chapter.
