Dacon Corp., city of Peabody mayor Edward Bettencourt, Jr., members of the Lucey family, and city officials, recently attended a groundbreaking ceremony for Centennial Crossing, a two-building, 40,000 s/f, mixed-use complex located at Four First Ave. in Centennial Park.
Centennial Crossing brings a new class of commercial real estate to Centennial Park by offering small retail, offices, medical, research and development, general business, and light industrial space to the park creating new tenant services for the 1,200 employees who work in Centennial Park.
Unit size ranges from 1,500-6,000 s/f. Centennial Crossing is conveniently located at Centennial Park, just moments from downtown Peabody, Rte. 1, I-95, and Rte. 128.
As you enter the complex from Centennial Dr., you will find 8 units totaling 13,000 s/f of retail space which directly face Centennial Dr., the main corridor for Centennial Park. As you travel around the right side of the retail space, you will enter the commercial area which boasts 8 units totaling 13,000 s/f of space on the left side and 9 units totaling 14,000 s/f of 18-foot clear ceiling height space on the right.
The buildings are designed with attractive, high-quality materials conveying the professional image a company demands. The site is designed with plenty of parking and convenient traffic flow to serve customers. Each business will be allowed ample signage both on its space and in the directories to attract customers and properly direct them once on site.
Kevin Lucey, president of Centennial Crossing, LLC, will announce the first tenant at Centennial Crossing soon, a 4,600 s/f medical office practice.
This will be the eighth project for Dacon in Centennial Park and the fifth project Dacon has designed and constructed with John and Kevin Lucey. This is also the third project for the Lucey Family in Centennial Park. May 2014 is the anticipated occupancy date for the first tenants.
