NAI Hunneman, a leading provider of commercial real estate services, recently brokered the $15.4 million sale of The Residences at Riverwalk, an 87-unit apartment complex located at 24 Oak St. and One River Court.
Executive vice president/principal Carl Christie, and sales associates Dan McGee and Henry Lieber, represented the seller Zell Riverwalk LLC and procured the buyer 24 Oak Street, LLC. Located close to I-95 and 495, The Residences at Riverwalk consist of two apartment buildings that were completely renovated in 2006 from vacant historic mills.
Building amenities include elevator access, a fitness center, luxury great room and entertainment area, a library, and computer room.
"The residences were developed to condo quality and represent one of Amesbury's most desirable rental properties, which generated strong interest from the market. We aggressively marketed the property and completed a 'Call for Offers' bid process. The quality of the asset drew multiple offers," said Christie.
The grounds are landscaped and improved with outdoor amenities including a gazebo by the river, grills with picnic tables, and easy access to the adjacent Riverwalk bike path.
