The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Boston Chapter confirmed its 2014 directors and officers at its recent annual chapter meeting. Incoming chapter president Joseph Bodio of LAN-TEL Communications accepted the gavel from Paul Guarracino of J.M. Electrical. Bodio will be serving a two-year term.
NECA Boston Chapter represents nearly 100 electrical and telecommunications contractors in Eastern Mass., Maine and N.H. NECA Boston works in partnership with the union electrical industries in Mass., Maine and N.H. (IBEW Local 103 in Boston, Locals 1253 in Augusta, ME, Local 567 in Lewiston, ME, and in Local 490 in Concord, N.H.).
NECA contractors are at the forefront of the electrical industry, delivering high voltage power transmission, low voltage systems, energy efficient lighting, building energy management systems, telecommunications, security systems, and renewable energy to commercial, educational, healthcare, institutional, and public projects throughout the Greater Boston region.
