Bruce Waters, CCIM, senior broker for Lang McLaughry Commercial, completed a long-term lease between Benning Street, Inc., owner of 82 Benning St. and Green HTS, Inc., d/b/a Hanover Transfer and Storage (HTS).
Hanover Transfer and Storage has been in business since 1934, serving the Upper Valley community for over eighty years.
Benning Street Business Park caught the attention of the owners of HTS, based on the availability of 31,000 s/f contiguous 25' high ceiling warehouse and a location that is less than a mile from the crossroads of I-89 and I-91, with easy access north and south, east and west.
HTS is owned and operated by Nate Hewes.
Waters said, "When discussing the opportunity with Nate, the new facility not only worked well with the moving part of his business, but also the containerized storage portion of the business."
The Benning Street Business Park is repurposing the former buildings occupied by Thermal Dynamics, into a mixed-use development of offices, manufacturing and storage. Along with Hanover Transfer and Storage, Victor Technologies occupies another 60,000 s/f. Currently, the park offers two additional buildings, each approximately 30,000 s/f and a master plan has been developed to subdivide the space to accommodate smaller tenants or the emerging high tech community.
Occupancy of the building for Hanover Transfer and Storage is June 1, with minor renovations in progress.
