Eli Florence, CEO of the Kaydon Group of Companies said that their Consolidated Electric division would now carry the Florence Electric brand name. Florence spoke of the resilience of the long established Consolidated brand in the industry. "We acquired Consolidated Electric of N.H. in 2007 and kept the name and familiarity to the local market. Now it's time to expand upon the strength of the Florence Electric brand and advance the standing of Consolidated Electric."
The Consolidated Electric field and management team have been with the Kaydon Group for many years and most were involved in the operations of the company early on. Larry Dostie, who manages the N.H. office emphasized, "Our team is consistent, strong, experienced, safety focused and customer-service driven. The Consolidated team will continue to operate with dedication and passion for excellence demonstrated by the Kaydon Group of Companies."
Consolidated Electrical has been a leading industry electrical contractor for over 30 years. Florence renamed the division to reflect brand unity with Florence Electric and Kaydon IT under the Kaydon Group of Companies."
The name change expands the well-known Florence Electric brand in the industry and will simplify customer and vendor interaction with the company while continuing to meet the demands of the building technology buyer.
