According to Ver-Tex Shade|Light Solutions, a new division of Ver-Tex Construction Specialties, Inc., George Lellios and Svetlana Bekker have joined the company to launch the Ver-Tex Shade|Light Solutions Experience Center located at 263 Summer St. in the city's Fort Point neighborhood. In the roles of manager and design consultant respectively, Lellios and Bekker have welcomed visitors to the new Experience Center since it opened.
The Ver-Tex Shade|Light Solutions Experience Center, in the hub of the city's architectural and design community, features the area's largest selection of integrated shading and lighting control solutions combined with robust educational offerings and on-site technical and design expertise. With George and Svetlana at the helm, the Experience Center is a resource for architects and interior designers to experience a variety of shading and lighting control solutions and access informative continuing education unit (CEU) professional classes and industry events.

Lellios is an accomplished sales and business development professional with more than fifteen years of experience in the shading and lighting, consumer electronics, and systems integration industries. He has a successful, proven track record of securing vertical partners and clientele, as well as fostering and maintaining strong client relationships to establish repeat and referral business. A creative resource to design/build professionals, Lellios possesses a wealth of knowledge of current and emerging shading and lighting control technologies and has served both commercial and residential clients. Lellios holds a bachelor of science in communications from Boston University.
Bekker is an interior designer with six years of experience, specializing in materials selection, furniture specifications, and 3D design. Prior to joining Ver-Tex, she was an interior designer at a commercial architecture and design firm in Boston, where she assisted with furniture and material selection that reflected client branding and identity. She was also responsible for generating furniture specification packages, construction documents, and submittals. An artist, Bekker received a bachelor of science in interior design with a minor in studio art from Endicott College.
The Ver-Tex Shade|Light Solutions Experience Center is Boston's new hub for total light management solutions, which include daylight harvesting, motorized shades, and complete integration of shading and lighting systems. The Experience Center features product and solution demonstrations, fabric and shade samples, CEU courses and industry-hosted events, and the Hunter Douglas Showcase Café for designer/client meetings and impromptu gatherings.
The Ver-Tex Shade|Light Solutions Experience Center at 263 Summer St. is open from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
