North Branch Construction, Inc. has completed the installation of new fire protection sprinkler systems in the historic Ton-Tine House and Grist Mill buildings at Sugar River Mills for the Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH). In addition to the sprinkler and fire alarm work, North Branch completed improvements to the thermal envelope of the building in various locations to correct air infiltration through the stone and brick walls, not uncommon in mill buildings. Working with Sugar River staff and tenants, North Branch was able to complete the project ahead of schedule.
North Branch previously completed a renovation to over 162 units at Sugar River Mills in 2012.
