Environmental Business Journal (EBJ) presented Tighe & Bond with a bronze medal for the mid-size firm's notable business achievement in revenue growth. Tighe & Bond was among a select group of companies nationwide that EBJ honored for revenue growth, acquisitions, innovative project designs, technology applications, new practice areas, social contributions and industry leadership at the 2014 EBJ awards ceremony.
EBJ recognized Tighe & Bond, a 250+ employee engineering and environmental consulting firm, for its consistent revenue growth over the past several years and its 2014 business success.
The event took place at the Environmental Industry Summit XIII in San Diego.
Tighe & Bond president and CEO, David Pinsky, attributes the company's success to the establishment of a culture that can attract and develop talented, hard-working professionals and to the company's ability to maintain discipline in executing its strategic plan. Tighe & Bond has steadily expanded its geographic coverage outside of New England and into New York, Rhode Island and beyond, and it has enjoyed growth in essentially all of its market segments, including water/wastewater, stormwater, asset management, site planning and development in connection with brownfields redevelopment, permitting, and environmental services.
"In what is widely regarded as a stable market, a number of companies exceeded the norms of low single-digit growth with double-digit growth or ambitious ventures into new practice areas or technology development," said Grant Ferrier, president of Environmental Business International Inc. (EBI, San Diego), publisher of Environmental Business Journal.
