The Connecticut/Western Massachusetts chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors once again held their spring meeting at the Tashua Knolls Public Golf Course. Special thanks to Zuvic-Carr & Associates for sponsoring the event and the town of Trumbull for making their top notch municipal golf course available to the chapter.
Trumbull's first selectman Tim Herbst, and economic development director Jamie Bratt joined the members and guests for lunch. Herbst talked about Trumbull's welcoming initiatives and streamline process to assist businesses looking to expand or relocate into the town of Trumbull. These efforts have resulted in 600 new jobs in the town of Trumbull. The job creation spans a wide range of businesses; from retail to industrial and R&D to office and back-office functions.
The town is proud of its recent track record and plans to continue actively promoting Trumbull as a desirable place to live and conduct business. Herbst and Bratt will continue to highlight the business and industrial park in Trumbull, which features a heliport landing pad.
Approximately 25 members and guests enjoyed a round of golf on the Tashua Knolls Golf Course. Even though the round was shortened by rain, all in attendance reported having a great time networking, sharing new ideas, and the camaraderie of getting together.
