GVA Williams of Connecticut signed a 1,705 s/f, 10-year lease for Dunkin' Donuts in Lincoln Sq. on Berlin Rd. The store plans to open in July, 2008. According to Stacy Libby, one of the GVA Williams brokers that represented the landlord, "Dunkin' Donuts had a store located in Stop & Shop. The move to the morning commute side of Rte. 372 will provide significant upside for them. It will also generate a lot of traffic for the center." Lincoln Square is a 9,700 s/f retail center that currently contains Sherwin Williams and Cort Furniture. The building has easy access on and off both I-91 and Rte. 9. The tenant's parent company, Newfield Donuts, LLC, also operates Dunkin' Donut locations in Meriden, Middletown, Cheshire and Durham. "Dunkin' Donuts will be filling a gap in the market," said Dominick Musilli, the other GVA broker on the deal. "This area of Cromwell is growing fast. It will be a great location for the new store."
