Dedham, MA Garry Holmes and Dean Blackey of R.W. Holmes Realty have completed two sales totaling $9.15 million. On behalf of Vision Realty Dedham LLC, Holmes and Blackey brokered the sale of 910 Washington St. to Dedham MOB LLC which is an entity controlled by Whelan Associates. The property sold for $6.45 million.
Built in 2012, 910 Washington St. is a 22,388 s/f medical office building located directly off Rte. 128 within walking distance of Legacy Place and the commuter rail. The location provides billboard exposure to over 130,000 commuters daily. The building itself is two-stories with green design for maximum efficiency and sustainability.
Steve Woelfel from Colliers represented Greater Boston Urology that will be the lead tenant for the building.
In the other sale Holmes and Blackey closed the sale of 18,000 s/f at 55 Border St., Newton, Mass. to Quarter Realty Trust. This property sold for $2.7 million.
55 Border St. is an office/manufacturing building in West Newton directly off the Mass. Pike with access to the West Newton train station. The building includes a tailboard dock as well as drive-in door along with heavy power.
Holmes represented the seller, Border Realty Trust while Blackey represented the buyer, Quarter Realty Trust.
