Robie Airport Park has been selected by WTC Air Freight as the site of its new terminal, which will be completed by October.
The design of the 15,480 s/f terminal is by Calvin Colabella of Caldwell, N.J. Colabella selected the site and represented WTC in negotiating the 20 year lease.
According to Hallam Smith of Robie Enterprises, the $350,000 terminal will complete the seven acre industrial development site, now one of the largest privately owned air freight centers in the world.
There are a total of more than 250,000 s/f of building space and a total of twenty tenants.
There are, at present, six air freight forwarders, an aircraft equipment service co. and an airline at the park which abuts Logan.
