Keene, NH Summit Realty Partners, Inc. completed a 6,600 s/f lease with a New England based pet store, One Stop Country Pet Supply who is currently building out its new store at Monadnock Marketplace. One Stop’s store in Keene is one of three locations run by owner Saskia Whallon, who has two others in Vermont. One Stop is relocating from Colony Mill Marketplace and expects to be open this month. Their current Keene location has been voted Best Local Pet Supply shop each year since 2009 and hosts events such as pet-friendly ice cream socials with special ice cream for dogs.
Monadnock Marketplace is 504,873 s/f shopping center filled with national retailers such as Target, Home Depot, Price Chopper, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Planet Fitness. Located at the intersection of Ash Brook Rd. and Rtes. 9, 10 and 12, it is in the middle of the prime retail market in Keene with easy access to downtown, as well as Keene State University. One Stop Country Pet Supply marks the first locally branded tenant to move into the shopping center, which the owners are excited about.
The owner of the shopping center, Keene MZL, LLC c/o Katz Properties, are planning more additions to the shopping center in the near future as there are plans to demolish the former Olive Garden restaurant, making way for a new retail strip center for smaller tenants which the shopping center currently lacks.
