Hayes & Sherry Real Estate Services has leased the entire 2nd floor (5,618 s/f) of the 60,000 s/f iBuilding located at 170 Westminster St. to Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA), a leading international provider of forensic investigation and litigation support services. Hayes & Sherry sold the 12-story office tower last summer to Philadelphia-based FB Capital Partners which is performing extensive technology and aesthetic upgrades.
Matt Fair, a broker with Hayes & Sherry, acted as exclusive tenant representative for FRA. "We looked at every available property in the Greater Providence market and after running several financial models and looking at the cost-benefits scenarios we came to the conclusion that being in the heart of downtown was the most important factor for FRA," said Fair.
"FRA will be a wonderful addition to the 'iBuilding' and we look forward to working with them closely to make sure all of their unique IT requirements are met," said Gary Brandeis, managing partner of FB Capital Ptrs.
170 Westminster St. was originally the executive offices for the Union Trust Bank. When the building was constructed in 1902, it was the tallest sky scraper in New England.
