BCAE sells Gamble Mansion in excess of $15 million

After a short time on the real estate market, the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) has sold its building at 5 Commonwealth Ave. for over $15 million. The buyer has informed the BCAE that they intend to maintain the building as a single family home and will preserve and respect the property in a way that is consistent with its history and heritage. Since 1938, The Gamble Mansion has served as the main headquarters for the BCAE.
