Townsend, MA Summit Realty Partners, Inc. completed several new lease transactions totaling 24,405 s/f at Harbor Village Shopping Center. New leases were executed with several national brand tenants, as well as many local retail and service concepts. National brands include Planet Fitness and Subway. Local concepts include Flooring Designs of Townsend, Norma’s Corner Doggy Daycare, Nashoba Valley Learning Center, and L.F. Robbins Insurance. Each of these tenants bring a unique brand and concept to the well located shopping center which was originally developed in 1986.
In addition to new leases, Summit was involved in renewing several existing leases totaling 47,146 s/f at the shopping center including Hannaford Supermarket, Rite Aid Pharmacy, McDonald’s, Townsend Fine Jewelers, Klever Klippers, Steward Medical, among others. These lease renewals and new leases come at an opportune time as the new owners of the shopping center have implemented an aggressive management and leasing campaign to tenant and repair the somewhat distressed shopping center that was only 70% occupied when purchased in 2014. The entire shopping center has been painted with a new color scheme and a new shopping center pylon sign has been installed to display most of the shopping centers tenants on Main St.
Harbor Village is a 99,707 s/f grocery-anchored shopping center prominently located on the Groton/Townsend line across from the new North Middlesex Regional High School which is currently under construction.
