New Haven, CT Brenner, Saltzman & Wallman LLP (BSW) has expanded its real estate and land use practice groups with the hiring of Danielle Bercury, Esq. as a senior associate.
Marc Wallman, firm principal and head of the real estate practice group said, “We are thrilled that our firm has attracted a very skilled practitioner to support our busy practice and also increase our capacity in the areas of real estate and land use.”
Carolyn Kone, firm principal and head of the land use practice group said “Most attorneys who do complex work in these two practice areas focus on one area or the other. Danielle’s extensive experience in both transactional real estate and land use offers an ‘all-in-one’ to our clients.”
“I was originally attracted to BSW because they are the ‘go-to’ firm for so many interesting real estate and development projects in and around New Haven – Audobon Square, East Rock Brewery, the Novella, Winchester Lofts, just to name a few. However, their reach is state-wide and beyond. Further, the sophistication and quality of their work in both of my practice areas is outstanding,” said Bercury who is originally from the New Haven area, but began her career in Fairfield County in the area of land use. From Fairfield County, she moved to a New Haven County firm where she expanded her practice to include commercial real estate. Today, her work includes representing clients in the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial and multi-use properties and multifamily residential dwellings. In her land use and zoning practice, she appears before planning and zoning boards and commissions across the state, obtaining approvals for commercial and residential development projects.
