How have you navigated obstacles to achieve success in your career: Growing up as the only girl in a household of rambunctious brothers, I learned early on that if you wanted something you had to get in the scrum and go for it. You couldn’t be afraid to voice your opinion and go against the consensus. Negotiating skills were essential, and the key to conflict resolution was finding common ground. Those lessons have been valuable throughout my career. If you take a genuine interest in understanding your client’s business and try to see things from their perspective, there is always a way to resolve an issue. It’s all about being transparent, effectively articulating how you can help, and delivering on what you promise.
