Fall River, MA According to HallKeen Management, Commonwealth Landing Lofts hosted the grand opening ribbon cutting on November 2.
Combining historical charm with modern style and amenities, Commonwealth Landing is comprised of one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes, including two-story lofts, in a restored mill building.
The luxury style apartment homes at Commonwealth Landing feature exposed brick, open concept layouts, designer kitchens, hardwood floors, and energy-efficient stainless steel appliances. Other building amenities include an on-site fitness center, a billiards room, a resident lounge, and on-site management. Residents can come home and enjoy access to dining at Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill and Clique Lounge, pampering at Main Attractions Hair Studio, or a workout at City Cycle, all of which occupy the commercial space on the building’s first floor.
Originally built in 1868, Mechanics Mill was constructed and produced textiles, as the textile industry in the area was booming. It was placed on the historical register in 1983. At the time it was built, its waterfront location was chosen in order to make shipments of coal easier to receive. Now, in its rebirth as Commonwealth Landing Lofts, its waterfront views delight the residents who call it home.
Leases are signed in all of the 103 apartment homes at the property. Residents began moving into their apartments in July.
