BWiC Rising Star of the Year: Carli Cabana, Project Manager at Siena Construction

Carli demonstrates many positive attributes – conscientiousness, initiative, collaborative spirit, a client-first philosophy, and ambitions to benefit the greater good – which are needed to succeed in the construction industry and serve as an example for developing great female leaders. Though still in her mid-20s, Carli demonstrates the maturity, confidence, and capability needed to communicate her knowledge to the project team. She has also shown great enthusiasm in her new role as a mentor to the young women Siena recently hired. We’re confident Carli will prove to be a great example, inspiring further develop our new employees’ skills as they navigate the industry.
Carli’s extra-curriculars also demonstrate her passion for community engagement and improvement. As an AGC MA BWiC committee member, Carli participates in developing programs and tools for other women that need support in the industry. This year, Carli organized a seven member team from Siena that rode in the Pan-Mass Challenge, a 90-mile bike race that benefits cancer research for the Dana Farber Cancer Center. Additionally, she frequently represents Siena as a volunteer for City Sprouts, a non-profit organization that introduces gardens to public schools as a core element of education.
