Branford, CT Join members of CCIM CT chapter for networking, dinner, and a presentation. Members and non-members are welcome. The event will be held June 20, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Stony Creek Brewery, 5 Indian Neck Ave. A full BBQ dinner catered by “The Stand” will be served. The cost for members is $45, and non-members is $65.

Senator Art Linares, 33rd District will present “The State of the Economy in Connecticut.” Senator Linares is serving his third term representing the 33rd senate district.

An assistant senate republican majority leader, Sen. Linares serves as vice-chairman of the Commerce Committee, and is a member of the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee and the Transportation Committee. He intends to work through these committees to pass legislation that will create a more business-friendly climate in the state, stabilize the state budget, and reduce state spending. Sen. Linares also serves as Co-Chairman of the Higher Education and Employment Committee.
