Boston, MA According to Kaplan Construction, its president, Nathan Peck, has been named to the Boston Business Journal’s 2018 40 Under 40 list. Celebrating the local people who are the achievers, innovators, and leaders in their field, a panel of judges chose honorees based on their influence on local business and industry, while factoring in contributions to the civic health of Greater Boston through volunteer work and other forms of philanthropy. Peck was selected by the editorial staff from nearly 350 nominations received this year.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by the Boston Business Journal and featured alongside my respected and hard-working peers,” said Peck. “This award represents my loyalty and dedication to the Greater Boston community from both a personal and professional perspective. I remain committed to providing the community with the exceptional workmanship and service that has become synonymous with the Kaplan Construction name for more than four decades.”
All 40 Under 40 honorees will be recognized by the Boston Business Journal at a cocktail reception and awards ceremony taking place on October 17 at the Red Lantern Restaurant & Lounge in Boston. In addition, each of their inspiring stories will be featured in an upcoming special supplement of the Boston Business Journal
"The 40 Under 40 program is one of the most competitive awards programs we run, and this year’s class really does represent the best and the brightest in Massachusetts," said Carolyn Jones, the Business Journal's market president and publisher. "We look forward to bringing attention to these extraordinarily talented young professionals and celebrating their achievements along with their co-workers, friends and family in October at what promises to be a special evening at the Red Lantern."
Joining Kaplan Construction as a senior project manager in 2012, Peck’s commitment and dedication to his projects’ success and client satisfaction helped him excel, strengthening the company and leading to a three-year management transition where Peck was promoted to president. In this role, Peck is responsible for providing strategic direction, fostering and maintaining client relationships, and overseeing the construction related deliverables.
