Plainville, CT NDC Corp., a general contracting and construction management company formerly known as Network Design and Construction, is poised for growth with newly expanded leadership and key strategic relationships.
Effective immediately, Jacqueline Laramee, NDC vice president, has become a principal in the privately-held company. Laramee is working hand-in-hand with the company’s founder and president, Melissa Sheffy, to position NDC as an industry leader by integrating modern construction technologies and methods.
NDC was established in 2016 as an outgrowth of Network Interiors, a commercial carpentry company specializing in steel construction founded by Sheffy in 1991. The strategic affiliation between the two companies expanded in 2018 with the launch of Network Framing Solutions, a new manufacturer of prefabricated steel components and assemblies. Each company operates as an independent business while providing a shared depth of expertise that expands the capacity of each individual entity.
“It is an exciting time in construction,” said Sheffy. “The industry is transforming with new advancements and opportunities. As a business owner, I am proud of the accomplishments of all the Network companies and I am thrilled to support Jackie in taking the lead at NDC. We are beginning a new decade in construction together and I look forward to continuing to build success from the ground up.”
“The new model of construction is collaborative and streamlined,” said Laramee. “As a general contractor and construction manager, NDC is able to offer our seamless strategic relationships with Network Framing Solutions and Network Interiors to help owners build faster and turn over projects more quickly.”
