Woburn, MA Healthcare logistics specialist Biocair has relocated its Boston office to 30 Tower Office Park, a Cummings Properties-managed building. The 8,639 s/f facility will serve as office and warehouse space for the company’s Massachusetts operation.
This move was prompted by demolition at 56 Roland St. in Boston, where the organization was previously located.
Cummings Properties leasing director Mike Truesdale worked with Paul Delaney and Joe Doyle of Cresa on the transaction.
“Tower Office Park is a great fit for a logistics company like Biocair given the site’s ready access to I-95 and I-93,” said Truesdale. “The firm will enjoy the convenience of nearby dining, shopping, and hotels and a quick ride to Boston while avoiding the significantly higher rents we’re seeing for office and warehouse space in the city.”
Truesdale noted that another draw for Biocair was its ability to work with Cummings’ in-house teams to design and construct the space. An extensive buildout of its offices was completed this summer.
The specialty courier joins neighboring warehouse and shipping firms Yusen Logistics, TTS Logistics, and Pine Logistics at its new space in Woburn.
