Narragansett, RI Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has negotiated the sale of 110 Boon St. for $750,000. The seller was represented by Michelle Datoli, who also facilitated the sale on behalf of the buyers. Located in the Pier in the town’s local Historic District, the home is near the Narraganset Town Beach and all the Pier attractions. The 3,223 s/f property has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and is on a .31 acre lot.
The buyer, Boon Street Holdings, LLC, has partnered with a local builder, Davitt Design Build, for a complete renovation of the historic property. To begin immediately, the renovation will be documented in a docuseries. Further information regarding the production company and viewing schedule has yet to be announced.
David Whitney, general manager of Davitt Design Build, said “We are thrilled for the opportunity to restore this gorgeous property back to its beautiful timeless condition.”
The old charm can be seen in high ceilings, original hardwood floors, grand foyer, and formal parlor. Circa 1887, the home features three bedrooms with ensuite baths and an additional three bedrooms and one full bathroom.
Owned by the Cottle family since 1960 and previously operated as the “Seafield Bed & Breakfast”, the home is privately set on a large one-third acre lot. “People always say if walls could talk...” said the seller, Pamela Cottle. “I think the walls at 110 Boon St. would say that they were filled with love and family. All 10 of us would tell a tale of a different story of fun and laughter. It is with the passing of ownership that we wish the same glory of our home to Boon Street Holdings, and we know that they will restore it to be a showplace for the next family to love.”
“It was an honor to represent the Cottle family in the sale of this amazing property. We found the perfect buyers and it will be a significant and exciting project. Boon St. is experiencing a revitalization including two proposed boutique hotels as well as the train station and the old Presbyterian Church renovations. 110 Boon St.will be a perfect addition.” said Datoli.
