Boston, MA According to law firm Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, attorney Heather Gamache has been elected president of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts (WBA) for 2021-2022. Gamache has served on the WBA board of directors since 2017 and served as president elect in 2020-2021. The organization’s new leadership was introduced during its virtual annual meeting in March.
“I am honored and excited to serve as president of the WBA, which has been a formative organization in the advancement of my career,” said Gamache. “Through the WBA, I have gained trusted mentors and friends and have been afforded many leadership and professional development opportunities. I look forward to collaborating with the board and our members to address the pressing issues facing women today and to advocate for the full and equal participation of women in the legal profession.”
As a director in the firm’s litigation practice, Gamache is an experienced trial attorney with a broad focus on real estate and commercial litigation matters. She represents residential and mixed-use condominium associations and individual unit owners in condominium disputes. In addition to her litigation practice, she advises condominium associations on all aspects of condominium governance. Gamache also represents business clients in contract disputes, tort matters, and 93A claims. She frequently appears in both state and federal court on behalf of her clients.
