Lexington, MA Callahan Construction Managers, a full-service construction management company, has reached a significant milestone at Revolution Labs, a new life sciences lab development. The project has officially topped off with the on-site garage, and this achievement was celebrated on September 13th at the site. Callahan is working alongside developer Greatland Realty Partners, architect SGA and Iron Workers Local 7 on the project, and all partners attended the topping off.
Located at 1050 Waltham St., Revolution Labs will be a 180,000 s/f office and lab building with a 442-space standalone precast garage. The project will host best-in-class amenity spaces, including covered parking with a solar canopy and 10 electric vehicle charging stations, with capacity for more, shuttle service to the nearby Alewife MBTA station, an onsite café, fitness center, bike share, bike storage, lockers and showers, lounge areas and meeting space, an amenity deck with a fire pit, sport court, and a connection to more than four miles of nature trails along the Western Greenway. The building will also include lab ready infrastructure and is targeting LEED Gold and WELL building certifications.

Revolution Labs is just the latest in a series of life sciences projects in Callahan’s portfolio within the Greater Boston suburbs and construction is currently underway at 300 3rd Ave in Waltham.
