Glastonbury, CT Design Your Monday was presented with the Best Specialty Project award by CREW CT, a leading organization for senior-level executive women in Connecticut commercial real estate. The CREW CT’s Annual Blue Ribbon Awards Showcase was held on May 18 to honor excellence for Connecticut’s 2021 real estate accomplishments.
The Best Speciality Project award category is for reusing an existing building for a purpose other than which it was originally built or designed for. The project that won the award was for a renovation for HORST Engineering, and was a collaboration among Capital Studio Architects, Aldrich Construction, and Design Your Monday.
The HORST Engineering project was a conversion of a former 100,000 s/f warehouse into a manufacturing facility in East Hartford.
“This project was a blank slate that needed to come to life. She added, “winning this award demonstrates that people appreciate the dedication and passion that went into this project.
