Grubb & Ellis|Coldstream Real Estate Advisors, Inc. has sold the former Atomic Ski USA sales & distribution facility at 9 Columbia Dr. on behalf of Atomic Realty Corp. of Ogden, UT. A team of Jacob Akers, Jim DeStefano and Neal Barrett of Grubb & Ellis|Coldstream's Bedford office represented the seller and procured the buyer, 9 Columbia Dr. Realty Holdings, LLC. The property is intended to become the headquarters of Skillings & Sons, Inc., specialists in water services, well drilling, water treatment and geothermal heating systems. Skillings & Sons will be relocating and consolidating existing locations in Hollis and Brookline, N.H. by early 2009. In a subsequent transaction, Grubb & Ellis|Coldstream also procured Preforms Plus, Inc. of Amherst to lease 18,182 s/f of warehouse space at 9 Columbia Dr. on behalf of the new owner. DeStefano said, "The new ownership of 9 Columbia Dr. has purchased a well conditioned and versatile property in a strong, southern New Hampshire location that can be both expanded and multi-tenanted, as needed." The purchase price for the 38,380 s/f building on 5.02 acres was $2 million according to the Registry of Deeds.
