Boston, MA CrossHarbor Capital Partners has expanded its senior team with the appointments of Scott Paton as a partner and head of business development and investor relations, and Brian Kinsella as a senior director with responsibility for capital fundraising initiatives in North America. Both Paton and Kinsella are based in the firm’s city office.

Paton spent over 25 years as an investment banker and private equity investor, raising institutional capital across the capital markets and through mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining CrossHarbor, he was a managing director of private equity coverage at William Blair and other growth-focused investment banks. He was also a co-founding partner of CapVest and MezzVest.
Paton began his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York and London. He received an A.B. from Harvard College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Kinsella has more than 15 years of experience and, prior to joining CrossHarbor, was a senior member of the North American fundraising and investor relations team at CBRE Investment Management. Previously, he was a director at Causeway Capital, focused on capital raising and investor relations across both institutional and high net worth channels. Before that, he served as a manager at Innovest Portfolio Solutions, an investment consultant based in Denver, CO. Kinsella received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Boston College and an MBA from Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado, Boulder.
