The Pinnacle at Merritt 8, a newly renovated 175,000 s/f commercial office building located at 99 Hawley Lane, was honored by the Stratford Beautification Committee recently during its 10th Anniversary Ceremony in the Council Chambers of the Stratford town hall. Recognition was bestowed for efforts by the property's owner, Phoenix Capital Partners, LLC to beautify Stratford.
Accepting the 2008 Beautification Award for Phoenix Capital Partners was James Arcara, as well as Rocco Sapione, facilities manager of The Pinnacle at Merritt 8. "We are very honored and proud of this award, as we have dedicated the past year to upgrading many of the building's interior, exterior and landscape components in a concerted effort to gain overall beautification as well as to provide state of the art amenities and services for our tenants," said Arcara. "Not only do we wish for our tenants of the building to enjoy a Class A office experience, but we also strive for excellence as a responsible and committed member of the Stratford community."
Merritt 8 is 65% leased to a tenant roster that includes New York Life and Cablevision. Cushman & Wakefield's Tom O'Leary, senior director, serves as the property's exclusive agent, handling the leasing of the remaining 60,000 s/f of available space.
The Pinnacle's corporate environment, situated on 8.3 landscaped acres in its own park-like setting, incorporates rotating seasonal plantings, specialty tree specimens which line the property's stone wall, a spouted and recirculated fresh water pond, and outdoor seating/picnic area for warm-weather outdoor dining. One of the newest exterior features is a canopy that links the employee entrance with the four-story covered parking garage.
The engraved pewter plate awarded for the beautification effort will be displayed in the main lobby of the building.
